Excel-Air, a company motivated by technological innovation, offers integration services for automation of environmental air conditioning, ventilation and heating (HVAC) systems that lead to improve efficiency in the operation of mechanical components in all types of installations.

DDC Field controllers allow to design custom-made systems for the programming of the operation of all air conditioning equipment, such as VAVs, AHUs, Fans, Gas Boilers, Valves, among others.

They operate flexibly and versatilely, as a single unit, adapting to the specific conditions and needs of the end user with the option to scalate and expand in the future should be required .

These digital controllers can be extended to internal and external lighting management for better power consumption and energy management. They are also used in access and safety control, monitoring of external alarms for fire and pumping systems.

We are trained and experienced with Niagara N4 by Tridium platform which allows the integration of different known network protocols such as BACnet, LonWorks, Modbus among others. This knowledge and expertise provide the capacity and abailability to monitor , control and collect data from one or multi-site facilities ( s.a. university campus , facility management companies , national chains, etc) to a single seat station server , where analisys, strategies and decisión making take place to optimize  the operation and energy usage of their buildings.

As a company with CEM and PEO professionals we provide services on Energy Management Audits (EMA) that help identify and show opportunities for the better  and effective usage of energy resources and its applications ( HVAC, lighting, water, motors, etc ) that helps maximize profits by cost reduction , systems retrofit and better designs.

Through the applications of  the right tools and dedicated measuring to the main sources of energy we are able to show with tangible and accurate data, the behavior of the building in order to recomend where, when and what has to be done to improve the use of energy in the facility.

As an extension of our EMA,  Excel AIR_CA will add a new line of service called Measurement and Verification M&V as a response for the need to confirm the taken Energy Meassurements, by developming metrics to verify the energy usage, its savings, water utilization, demand management so that retrofits, and renewable energy projects can be considered and prioritized.

One the most important components in the operation and energy consumption of HVAC systems are the electrical motors used in Fans and recirculation pumps, therefore is key in Energy efficiency, its monitoring and precise control. This control and energy management is better achieved by using variable frequency drives (VFDs) and high efficiency motors.

Excel AIR provide the services of procurement, installation and adjustment of VFDs and high efficiency motors in HVAC application, which provide immediate savings in energy consumption, short payback times and  very attractive ROIs.
